US SCR-300 radio set 1:16 (Firma49) is a resin accessory for figures and dioramas of the US Army of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail accessory, not a stand-alone model. The set captures the American portable SCR-300 radio set, which a soldier carried on his back. In the large 1:16 scale it comes into its own above all with figures and in dioramas of American infantry.
The SCR-300 was an American backpack FM radio set of the Second World War period, historically linked with the rise of the nickname walkie-talkie. It served for radio communication at battalion level and was carried by a dedicated radio operator, which makes it a characteristic feature of scenes with American infantry.
Wash the parts free of the mold release agent, separate the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate; sand with respiratory protection. The large 1:16 scale invites careful painting, picking out the controls and the antenna and realistic weathering of the wear.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. Paints, glue and a figure are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
