An injection-molded plastic kit of the V-100 Commando wheeled armored vehicle in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer ACE. The model captures the version armed with the XM-174 automatic grenade launcher. The kit is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The V-100 Commando (army designation of the XM-706 series) was a light four-wheeled armored personnel carrier developed by Cadillac Gage. The vehicle proved itself above all in the Vietnam War, escorting convoys, on reconnaissance and in the defense of base perimeters. Some of the vehicles were armed with the 40 mm automatic grenade launcher, which raised their firepower against infantry.
Finish the suspension and the wheels before the hull is closed up. Glue the plastic with thin modeling cement and apply a primer before painting. An airbrush suits a faithful look, and final mud and dust effects with washes and pigments give the vehicle an authentic field patina.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
