This resin detail set from the Czech maker Aires replaces the exhaust nozzle on a model of the Japanese Mitsubishi F-2 multirole fighter (the A and B versions) in 1:72 scale. The OPENED version shows the nozzle in the open (spread) position. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory.
The Mitsubishi F-2 is a Japanese multirole fighter derived from the American F-16 and operated by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force. The single-seat F-2A and the two-seat F-2B share the same powerplant and the same exhaust nozzle.
Wash the part free of the mold release agent, separate it from the casting block with a cut and glue it with cyanoacrylate. Render the inside of the nozzle in metallic shades with heat discoloration and bring it out with a wash. Check how it follows on to the rear fuselage before you glue it in.
This is a modeling resin accessory, not a complete model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
