1:72 Me-262 - 2 x Engines CLOSED is a pair of 3D-printed engine nacelles with the cowls closed, for the Me 262 kit in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory set of two 3D-printed engine nacelles for the kit of the German Me 262 jet aircraft in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a replacement part. The version with the cowls closed means the nacelle is closed up and offers a more accurate shape and a finer surface than the plastic part from the kit, without any need to build up the inside of the engine.
Cut the supports off with a sharp blade or a fine saw as close to the part as possible and sand the rest down; do not break them off. The printed material is hard and brittle, so work without pressure. The parts are glued with cyanoacrylate; solvent cement for plastic does not work here. Before painting, wash and degrease the nacelles and apply a base. The metallic cast on the engine cowls is well captured by darker steel shades applied at the end, because they are harder to spray over.
The set contains the nacelles only. Glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
