Double-sided painting masks for the Dornier Do 335A-0 Pfeil in 1:32 from Art Scale. Self-adhesive masks for masking the glazing from the outside and from the inside.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from Art Scale contains self-adhesive painting masks for the model of the German Dornier Do 335A-0 Pfeil fighter in 1:32 scale. It is not a kit or a set of decals but a masking set. The masks are shaped precisely for the frames of the large canopy. This is the double-sided version: besides the external masking it also holds parts for masking the frames from the inside of the cockpit, so that the frames look convincing from both views.
The intricate, large canopy of the Do 335 is hard to mask by hand. A double-sided set lets you paint the frames in the correct interior and exterior color, which shows when the canopy is lit from behind. The pre-shaped masks do away with laborious cutting of tape.
Degrease the glazing. Apply the inner masks before closing the cockpit, so that the frame is sprayed in the interior color; the outer masks only during the final finish. Spray thin coats and remove the mask while the finish is still fresh.
This is a masking accessory. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
