One-sided painting masks for the Fw 190D 1:48 from the manufacturer Art Scale. Precisely shaped self-adhesive masks for masking the glazing while spraying.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the manufacturer Art Scale contains self-adhesive painting masks for a model of the German fighter Focke-Wulf Fw 190D in 1:48 scale. It is neither a kit nor decals but a masking set. The masks are in the express fit form, that is, precisely preshaped for the frames of the canopy, so that they can be stuck down quickly and accurately. This is the one-sided variant, intended to mask the glazing from the outside and to create clean, sharp boundaries between the glass and the structure.
Masking the canopy is one of the most demanding steps in building an aircraft model. Preshaped masks take the place of laborious tape cutting and secure sharp, repeatable edges. Once the paint has been sprayed they peel off easily.
Degrease the glazing before masking. Place the masks on the frames precisely with tweezers and press them down. Spray thin coats, so that the paint does not run under the edge, and remove the mask while the coat is still fresh.
This is a masking accessory. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
