Responsibility details are not available.
A finished collector's model of the French Dassault Mirage IIIC fighter in 1:72 scale from Falcon Models, in the markings of the Israeli Air Force and its 101st Squadron. The model is cast in metal with additional plastic parts, painted and marked, so it is neither built nor glued. It has engraved panel lines, an opening canopy and extended landing gear. A stand is included, on which the machine can also be displayed in a flying position.
The Israeli machines of the Mirage III family made their name in the Six-Day War of 1967, where they took part in destroying enemy aircraft on the ground as well as in the air battles that followed. The 101st Squadron is the oldest fighter unit of the Israeli Air Force and its machines carried prominent identification stripes. The end of French deliveries after 1967 led Israel to start building its own derived type.
The metal casting is heavier than a plastic model, so stand the stand on a firm surface. Wipe the surface with a soft dry cloth; cleaning agents can damage the printed markings. Do not display the model in direct sunlight, as the colors and the lettering will fade. Handle the canopy carefully, as the hinge is the most stressed place on the model.
It is a finished painted model, not a kit. No glue or paints are needed.
