The 2 cm SK C/30 guns of the German Navy is a set of printed replacement parts for models of ships in 1:700 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of printed parts imitating the German naval antiaircraft guns of two centimeter caliber in the single-barrel version, in 1:700 scale. It is not a ship kit, but a replacement for the simplified parts out of the box or a way of adding missing weapons.
The two-centimeter gun was the most widespread light antiaircraft weapon of the Kriegsmarine. The crew aimed it by hand, it fired from box magazines and its effectiveness against low-flying aircraft depended mainly on the quick reaction of the gunner. On ships it appeared on superstructures, on the bridge wings and on platforms added over the course of the war, because the threat from the air kept growing and there were never enough light weapons.
In 1:700 scale a single part measures only a few millimeters, so work with a magnifier, tweezers and over a box. Cut the print supports off with a fresh blade, and never snap them off. Painting is easier before cutting them off: the base shade of the superstructure and a light accent on the barrel in a darker tone are usually enough. They are bonded with super glue dispensed with a pin. Before gluing, check the position of the weapons against the drawing, so that they all point in the same direction.
