Flyhawk 1:700 Admiral Scheer 1940 - anti-aircraft armament is a detail set of anti-aircraft guns for a model of the German cruiser Admiral Scheer.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detail set in 1:700 scale from the manufacturer Flyhawk. It is NOT a ship model but an add-on set of anti-aircraft (AA) armament intended to improve a model of the German heavy cruiser Admiral Scheer in her 1940 state. The set refines the small weapon stations that cannot be executed with such fineness in the base kit.
The Admiral Scheer was one of the so-called pocket battleships of the Kriegsmarine, of the Deutschland class. Besides the main and secondary batteries she also carried light anti-aircraft armament, whose fine barrels and mountings this set captures more faithfully for a collector-grade build of the model.
These are very small parts, so work with tweezers, a sharp modeling scalpel and good lighting. Cyanoacrylate glue in small amounts suits the gluing of fine parts. It is a good idea to paint the set before fitting it and to complement it with railings and other etched parts according to the overall conception of the model.
This is an add-on detail set, not a standalone ship model. It is supplied unpainted, without paints and glue, unless stated otherwise.
