An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from FORE ART in the 1+1 form — the package holds two kits, from which one vehicle with ATACMS armament and one with GMLRS armament can be built. The set is richly equipped: it holds photo-etched parts, decals, clear parts, 3D-printed parts and rubber tires, a detailed engine and a cab interior. The launcher can be built in the stowed as well as the raised position.
The M142 HIMARS is a wheeled self-propelled rocket launcher developed for the United States Army for accurate fire at long range. The vehicle carries either one ATACMS missile or six GMLRS guided rockets, and thanks to its wheeled chassis it is highly mobile.
Use thin cement on the plastic and bond the photo-etched and 3D-printed parts with super glue. Treat the surfaces with a primer first and lay the paint down with an airbrush; the small 1:72 scale rewards careful preparation. Build the weathering with washes and pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
