This injection-molded plastic kit captures the complete skeleton of the predatory dinosaur Tyrannosaurus rex and is supplied together with a base for display. The model is molded in light polystyrene and comes from the original historical tooling; plastic cement is needed to build it.
Tyrannosaurus rex was one of the largest land-dwelling carnivorous dinosaurs of the Cretaceous. The model follows a museum reconstruction of its skeleton, as the individual bones are assembled into the characteristic stance of a predator.
Glue the parts with thin modeling cement for plastic, fill the joints and sand them back. The bones come out well over a base of bone white to ocher, with the hollows picked out gently by a darker wash, which gives the skeleton depth and a sense of age.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
