About product

Spitfire Mk.IX - Simply Masks 1:48 (HGW)

A set of self-adhesive masks from the Czech brand HGW in the Simply Masks line. It is NOT a model of an aircraft but an accessory for the build: accurately cut masks for painting the frames of the canopy and the other glazing of a Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX model in 1:48 scale.

Use

  • Stick the masks onto the glazing along the frames and cover the surrounding area.
  • Spray the frames with an airbrush or a brush and take the masks off once they are dry.
  • You get sharp, straight lines on the frames with no hand painting.

Who the set is for

  • Modelers who want clean cockpit frames on the Spitfire without laborious masking.
  • Builders of the Mk.IX version in 1:48 scale.
  • Beginners and advanced builders who care about good glazing.

This is an accessory (masks), not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
