About product

Hataka Royal Air Force 1938-1941 - a set of acrylic paints

A set of modeling acrylic paints from the Polish brand Hataka from the Red Line range, put together for the early camouflage scheme of the Royal Air Force (RAF) from the years 1938 to 1941. It contains the shades for the upper camouflage surfaces as well as the undersides typical of machines such as the Spitfire or the Hurricane from the beginning of the Second World War. Red Line paints are water-thinnable acrylics meant for application with a brush as well as an airbrush.

Use

  • They are thinned and cleaned with water, or with Hataka acrylic thinner - not with a lacquer one
  • Shake the bottle thoroughly before use
  • Thin the paint for an airbrush; for a brush it can be applied thicker
  • Apply over a primer in thin coats for a smooth surface

Who the set is for

For modelers building British aircraft of the early period of the Second World War who want matched, period-correct shades in one package.

A water-based acrylic paint. Use in a well-ventilated space and keep out of the reach of children.
