The kit is supplied unassembled and unpainted; it is a classic plastic kit to be glued and sprayed. For the exact contents of the box and the part count, follow the enclosed instructions and the markings on the box.
The Ford Transit is a range of light commercial vehicles built for the European market from the 1960s onward and is one of the most widespread vans of all. It became known for its practical, roomy load area, its reliability and its wide use by tradesmen, hauliers and service companies. That very versatility made it an icon of the European road for several generations.
On a van with large smooth body surfaces, careful surface preparation pays off: sand down the parting lines, spray primer and paint in thin coats so that the transitions do not show. A gloss coat under the decals will make sure the company markings settle without silvering. Paint the interior and the chassis separately and attach the glazing at the very end with canopy glue. Large surfaces are best handled with an airbrush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
