This is a decorative board to stand a model on, not a kit. The board is made of 3 mm acrylic, measures 410x270 mm and weighs about 410 grams. On its surface is a faithful printed motif of a section of the flight deck of the nuclear aircraft carrier USS Nimitz in the position for launching an aircraft, including the guide lines, the markings and the texture of the surface.
The board creates a realistic setting for displaying a finished aircraft model in 1:32 scale. You stand the model straight on the board and get the impression of a machine ready to launch from the deck. The motif is printed, so the laborious painting of a base falls away.
This is a standalone board to stand a model on. The aircraft model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
