This is not an airplane model but a detailed resin set of landing flaps for a model of the Tupolev Tu-134 airliner in 1:72 scale. It makes it possible to rework the wing so that the flaps are lowered, as on approach and landing, which gives the model a sense of movement.
The resin parts faithfully capture the internal structure of the flaps and the mechanism, which is not visible with the flaps retracted. Once they are worked in, the wing gains a realistic depth and the finished model looks as if it had been caught just before touchdown.
The original flap section has to be cut out of the wing, so we recommend the set to more experienced modelers. Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue. Sand the cuts and the seams carefully so that the transitions look natural. The set is intended for a particular Tu-134 kit in this scale.
This is an accessory set, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
