LACI 1:72 Andover - Rolls Royce Dart 536 (2 engines) is a resin conversion set of two Rolls-Royce Dart turboprop engines for a model of the Hawker Siddeley Andover / HS.748 transport aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not an airplane kit but a resin conversion set for experienced modelers. The set holds two Rolls-Royce Dart 536 turboprop engines with their nacelles, intended to replace the parts of a base model of the British transport aircraft Hawker Siddeley Andover, or of the related HS.748, in 1:72 scale. The accessory is made by LACI.
The Andover and its civil relative the HS.748 were British twin-engine turboprop aircraft powered by exactly these Rolls-Royce Dart engines. They were used for regional transport and as military transports operating from short and unpaved runways.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and dry-fit them. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Use respiratory protection when sanding resin. Apply a primer before painting.
It is supplied as a resin accessory, unassembled and unpainted. The base model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
