About product

Milliput Metallic - two-part epoxy putty

Milliput is a British two-part epoxy putty that is mixed from two equal parts. The Metallic variant contains a metallic pigment, so the cured material resembles metal and can be polished to a metallic sheen. The putty does not shrink as it sets and suits modeling work as well as repairs to metal objects.

Use

  • filling gaps, cavities and openings on a model
  • modeling missing or damaged parts
  • shaping small accessories and details
  • repairs to metal surfaces with a metallic look

How to work with the putty

Take an equal amount from both parts and knead them thoroughly for at least a few minutes, until a uniform mass with no streaks is formed. Within the working time the surface can be smoothed with a moistened finger or tool. Once cured, which at room temperature takes a matter of hours, the material can be sanded, filed, drilled and painted.

Who it is for

For modelers and home builders who need a strong, non-shrinking putty with a metallic look for modeling as well as repairs.

Use hand protection when mixing and wash your hands after work. Do any sanding of the cured putty with respiratory protection.
