Mirage Hobby Fine Point Blade No. 11 version 2 is a pack of five spare fine-tipped blades for a modeling scalpel.
Responsibility details are not available.
Five spare blades from the Polish brand Mirage Hobby. The version 2 designation sets this variant apart from the basic pointed blade of the same shape: the tip is ground to a finer finish, so it reaches further into a narrow gap and starts the cut more precisely. Behind the tip the edge continues straight, and from there you cut in the usual way.
Seat the blade all the way home in the holder and make the cut in several passes with light pressure, because a fine tip snaps easily when levered. If you need to apply force, reach for a sturdier blade and keep this one for detail. Replace a dull blade, since resharpening loses the fine shape of the tip anyway. Store blades you set aside in the packaging, not loose in a drawer.
For modelers who work with small parts and need a precise tip, for figure painters and for anyone doing fine touch-ups on a finished model. It pays to keep them in a holder next to an ordinary blade and alternate the two depending on whether you are removing material or only aiming the tip into a narrow gap. The blades are sharp and their tip is fragile, so store them out of the reach of children.
