1:48 Martin B-26 C Marauder - BASIC Kabuki Masks (for ICM 48328 and 48324 Kits)

New Ware Martin B-26C Marauder BASIC kabuki masks 1:48

A basic set of self-adhesive masking templates in kabuki (washi) tape from the Czech brand New Ware for a model of the Martin B-26C Marauder medium bomber in 1:48 scale. The masks are machine-cut to be exact and shaped to the extensive glazing and the wheels of the matching kit. The BASIC version covers the key areas for a clean transition between colors.

The real subject

The Martin B-26 Marauder was an American twin-engine medium bomber of the Second World War. It was marked out by its high speed, its slender fuselage and the large glazed nose and pilot's cabin. It is precisely the amount of glazing that makes masking with templates a great saving of time.

Use

• Transfer the masks onto a clean and degreased surface and press them onto the frames.
• Apply the paint with an airbrush; once it has dried, remove the masks carefully.
• Mask the wheels separately for a crisp edge between hub and tire.
• Suitable for acrylic, enamel and lacquer paints.

Who the set is for

• Builders of the B-26C Marauder in 1:48 scale.
• Modelers who want clean frames on extensive glazing.
• Those for whom the basic range of the BASIC version is enough.

This is a masking set, not an airplane model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
