A kabuki masking set for the Handley Page Hampden TB.Mk.I in 1:48 scale from New Ware in the BASIC version. Precisely cut self-adhesive masks for a clean spray of the glazing and the wheels.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of self-adhesive masking templates of fine kabuki (washi) paper, cut exactly to fit the kit in question. It is not a model but an aid for a clean spray of the glazing framing and of the other clear parts. The BASIC version covers the framing of the canopy and of the glasshouse positions, the remaining transparent parts and masks for the wheels.
The Handley Page Hampden TB.Mk.I was the torpedo-carrying version of the British twin-engine bomber of the Second World War, nicknamed the flying suitcase for its narrow fuselage. As a torpedo bomber it served mainly with RAF Coastal Command against shipping.
Peel the mask off, set it exactly in place with tweezers and press the edges down. Spray in thin coats so that the paint does not creep under the edge. We recommend the interior cockpit shade first, then the exterior color of the airframe.
The set holds only masking templates. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
