A set of self-adhesive masking templates made of fine kabuki (washi) paper, cut to fit the particular kit exactly. It is not a model but an aid to spraying the glazing perfectly. The EXPERT version is the most complete: besides the canopy framing and the clear parts it also contains masks for the seals and for the inner faces of the glazing, so that you achieve a precise separation of the interior and exterior cockpit colors.
The North American F-86 A Sabre was the first production version of the famous American swept-wing jet fighter. It made its name in the dogfights over Korea and became a symbol of the first generation of jet fighters. It served above all with the US Air Force.
Place the masks with tweezers and press the edges down carefully, especially on the inner faces of the glazing. Spray the interior cockpit shade first and the exterior airframe color afterwards. Lay the paint on in thin coats and let it dry before removing the masks.
The set contains masking templates only. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
