A set of pre-cut self-adhesive masks from the Czech manufacturer Omask makes painting a model of the American Bell P-39 Airacobra fighter in 1:48 scale easier. These are not decals and not a model but masking templates that help to paint the cockpit glazing and the color fields accurately when spraying with an airbrush. The masks are cut for the Hasegawa or Hobby 2000 kits.
The masks are stuck onto the relevant areas of the model, sprayed over and taken off once dry. The result is sharp, clean transitions without laborious masking with tape. They make painting the glazing frames and the camouflage boundaries easier above all.
Degrease the surfaces before sticking the masks down, press the mask carefully against the edges and apply the paint in thin coats so that it does not creep under the edge. Take the mask off while the paint is still fresh.
These are masking templates, not a model and not decals. Paints and the model are not included in the package.
