This is not a model but a set of precisely cut self-adhesive masking stencils that make painting easier. The O-max version is a more comprehensive arrangement that covers not only the cockpit glazing but also the other masked areas of a model of the British Hawker Typhoon Mk.IB fighter with the later tear drop canopy. The masks follow the framing exactly and save laborious work with tape.

Use

• Masking the frames of the cockpit glazing before spraying.
• Covering the areas meant for a different shade accurately.
• Stick on, spray over and then take off with no adhesive residue.

Usage tips

Rid the surfaces of dust and grease before sticking the masks on. Lay the mask on with tweezers, press it carefully against the frames and apply the paint in thin coats so that it does not creep under. Let the paint become tacky and take the mask off before it has hardened completely.
