Star Wars: Battle of Endor, an illuminated book nook from Revell: a wooden kit with lighting. It is neither a book nor a plastic model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A book nook is a kit that once finished stands among the books on a shelf. Between the spines a gateway opens into the forest on Endor, and the built-in lighting fills the whole scene with warm light, so the view looks like a film shot stopped in time. It is a wooden kit, that is printed and laser-cut parts, not a plastic model and not a book.
The package contains printed laser-cut wooden parts, the lighting with a battery box and illustrated instructions. Batteries are not included; the manufacturer states that two AAA cells are needed. The model is built on precise interlocking joints, so according to the manufacturer no glue is needed.
Break the parts out of the fret carefully and rather cut any bridges with a sharp knife, so that a corner does not chip off. Push the joints in straight and without force: wood has only so much give and cracks under angled pressure. Before the final assembly, try out where the cable for the lighting will run, so that you do not have to pull it across a finished scene afterwards. Place the battery box so that you can reach it even once it is pushed into the shelf.
The kit is supplied unassembled. Batteries are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
