AK Styrene Rod 1.50 mm x 350 mm is a set of 8 round rods made of white styrene (polystyrene) from manufacturer AK Interactive. Each rod is 1.50 mm in diameter and 350 mm long. It is a thicker variant in the line, suited to load-bearing elements such as struts, tubing, and sturdier reinforcements. The material is easy to cut with a hobby knife, can be bent after heating, and bonds with ordinary liquid cement for plastic models, which melts the surface and forms a strong joint.
For modelers who add detail to kits, repair damaged parts, or build their own elements and need a thicker round plastic rod with a 1.50 mm diameter for load-bearing parts.
The material is plastic (polystyrene). Plastic cements and their fumes tend to be flammable and irritating — work in a ventilated room, follow the instructions on the glue packaging, and protect your fingers when cutting with a knife. This is not a toy and is not intended for young children.
