Russian Mud

Vallejo Russian Mud (Thick Mud)

A thick water-based acrylic texture paste in a 200 ml container. It is a relief paste, not a paint for spraying. It creates a very dark, rich shade of Eastern European black earth and imitates the dried mud typical of Russian and eastern terrain. It is used for deposits of soil on running gear, the lower part of a hull, wheels and tracks.

Use

• It is applied with a spatula, a brush or an old tool straight onto the model.
• Ideal for tank tracks, wheels and the lower areas of vehicles.
• It combines with pigments and washes for shading and depth.
• It dries to a matte or slightly glossy relief; a thicker layer takes longer to dry.
• Paste that has not dried and the tools wash off with water.

Who it is for

Meant for modelers of the Eastern Front and makers of dioramas who want realistic dark mud effects on running gear. Suitable for less experienced modelers as well.

A water-based product. Keep it closed and out of the reach of children; close the container well after use so that the paste does not dry out.
