Vallejo Rust (Metallic) 17ml

A water-thinnable Vallejo acrylic metallic paint in a dropper bottle with a capacity of 17 ml. The rust-colored metallic shade with fine metal pigments suits imitating corrosion, weathered metal and patina on models, figures and accessories. It is a water-based acrylic that is thinned with water or airbrush thinner, not with solvent.

Use

  • It is applied with a brush or an airbrush; thin it to the consistency of milk for spraying.
  • The metal pigment settles to the bottom, so mix the paint thoroughly before and during work.
  • It works well in combination with other rust tones and pigments for layered corrosion.
  • Metallics are harder to overspray and mask, so apply them toward the end.
  • It dries quickly to a smooth, self-leveling film.
