How to apply the paint

Stir the contents of the pot thoroughly before use, as the pigment settles to the bottom while it stands. Use the thinner intended for this range and set the thinning ratio according to the maker's instructions on the box. Apply in thin coats and let each one go off; a single heavy coat will flood fine detail and dries unevenly. Try out how it behaves mixed with paints of other brands on a spare piece of plastic, not straight on the model.

Tips on painting with white

White covers worse than any other shade, so a light base belongs under it; on bare darker plastic the base would show through and the paint would have to be laid on so heavily that it flooded the edges. Wash and degrease the surface of the parts before painting, as fingerprints show up under white most of all. Apply masking tape to a dried coat before you spray the next shade and remove it carefully so that it does not tear the edge away with it. Close the pot immediately after work and keep it dry and away from frost.
