A water-thinnable acrylic metallic paint from the Aqueous Hobby Color range from the Japanese brand Mr. Hobby (GSI Creos). It is a water-based acrylic in a gloss metallic shade of silver, in a bottle of 10 ml. It is not a lacquer and not an enamel: it is thinned with water or with the acrylic thinner of the same range, and brushes and the airbrush are cleaned with water.
For modelers who want a faithful metallic look without aggressive solvents. With metallics the pigment settles to the bottom, so stir the paint carefully before every use. It looks best on a smooth, well prepared base and it is best applied toward the end, because metal surfaces are harder to mask and to overspray.
