Silver NMM Color Set

Vallejo Silver NMM Color Set

The Silver NMM Color Set belongs to the Vallejo Basics (Game Color) range and contains four water-thinnable acrylic paints of 18 ml each. The set is meant for the NMM (Non-Metallic Metal) technique, that is for imitating metal without using metallic paints. By combining a base, a shadow and highlights the impression of polished silver and steel is reached through contrast, not through a glossy pigment. The shades follow on from each other chromatically according to the BSL system (base – shadow – light).

Use

• Painting weapons, armor and metal elements with the NMM technique.
• The base – shadow – light system for realistic reflections of metal.
• Applied with a brush, thinned and cleaned up with water.
• The shades can be mixed with each other for smooth transitions of the reflections.

Who it is for

Suitable for figure painters who want to master non-metallic metal without mixing a palette of their own. The NMM technique is more demanding, but the matched shades of the set make it markedly easier.

It is a water-thinnable acrylic. Store the bottles closed and protect them from frost.
