Spraying with an airbrush creates a mist that settles everywhere in a room and that should not be inhaled. A spray booth catches it right at the source: the model stands in an enclosed space, the fan draws the air backward through a filter and a hose carries it out of the room. This booth is built for home use, so it folds up and can be put away after work. According to the manufacturer's information it has a power supply for an ordinary mains socket with a twelve volt output, a fan with an input of 22.2 W and an adjustable air flow from zero to 5.1 cubic meters per minute. The exhaust hose extends to a length of 0.37 to 1.5 meters. The filter is replaceable and is pulled straight out of the booth. Lighting for the working area is included.
The booth suits anyone who sprays at home, that is, where there is no workshop with extraction. It is not a substitute for ventilation or for respiratory protection, but it markedly reduces the amount of paint in the room and makes it easier to keep the working area clean.
This is an electrical device. Do not use it near an open flame, follow the manufacturer's instructions and use respiratory protection while spraying. Keep out of the reach of children.
