Spray filler primer, 400 ml from Green Stuff World: a thick primer that fills grooves and print lines.
Responsibility details are not available.
A primer in a pressurized can holding four hundred milliliters, which differs from an ordinary primer in being noticeably thicker. It is therefore not just a coat for paint to hold on but a material that at the same time fills fine grooves, layer lines from three-dimensional printing and small surface imperfections. The shade is light gray and it can be painted over. The manufacturer lists it for plastic, resin, metal, wood and foam materials for costumes.
Shake the can thoroughly before use and let both the model and the can come to room temperature, because a cold surface gives a grainy spray. Spray in thin coats from a distance; with a filler primer too, two thin coats are better than one heavy one that would drown the detail. Once dry, the surface is sanded back with a fine abrasive, which levels the grooves, and the process is repeated as needed. It is exactly this alternation of spraying and sanding that removes layer lines on printed parts fastest.
For modelers working with printed parts, for builders of props and costumes and for anyone who needs to level a surface before painting.
This is a pressurized can with flammable contents. Spray outdoors or in a well-ventilated space, away from open flame and sources of sparks, and protect your airways. Do not expose the can to high temperatures, do not pierce it and store it out of the reach of children.
