Vallejo Surface Primer Steel Grey - an acrylic primer

A steel gray primer from the Vallejo Surface Primer range. It is a water-thinnable acrylic-polyurethane primer that forms a thin but exceptionally strong and durable matte film on the model. It adheres well to plastic, resin, white metal, brass and other modeling materials, unifies the surface and prepares an ideal base for the painting and weathering that follow. The gray tone also serves as a neutral intermediate coat, over which the colors applied on top come out well.

Use

• Shake the bottle thoroughly before use.
• Primarily meant for the airbrush (a pressure of roughly 15-20 PSI is recommended); it can also be applied with a brush.
• It is used unthinned, or slightly thinned with thinner or with a flow improver for the airbrush.
• Let it dry and cure properly, and only then go on with covering paints.
• Suitable as a universal base under acrylic paints on figures and vehicles alike.
