A plastic kit of a robot character from the film world of Transformers, built on parts that plug into one another. No glue, paints or tools are needed: the parts are pre-colored and fit together. The set contains about sixty parts and a base. The finished figure has articulated joints at twenty points, so it can be set in a chosen pose, and it stands about ten centimeters tall.
Cut the parts off with cutters or a knife, do not snap them off: on pre-colored parts snapping damages the paint at the gate. Smooth the remains of the gate with fine abrasive and touch it up if needed. Do not overload the articulated joints the first time you assemble the figure; the plastic warms up only with use and at the start the joints tend to be stiffer. If you want to take the model further, the pre-colored surface can be brought out with a dark wash in the engraved lines.
The finished figure takes paintwork well, even though it does not need it. It is enough to bring out the grooves and add metallic highlights on the exposed edges.
The set contains small parts. It is not suitable for small children without supervision.
