Transparent Water is a water-thinnable acrylic gel in a 200 ml container intended for imitating a water surface in dioramas. It suits above all shallow, moving water and the creation of waves and crests. Once dry it is transparent and glossy; it dries in about 24 hours according to the thickness of the application. It is not an opaque paint or a kit but a modeling medium.
First paint and seal the base so that the gel adheres well and does not seep through. Apply it in thinner layers and let them dry out; you bring out the depth of the water with a darker base under the transparent gel. Tools and hands are cleaned with water as long as the gel has not dried.
For builders of dioramas and vignettes who want a realistic sheet of water without casting resins.
