True Metal Old Bronze from AK interactive is a metallic paste in a jar that is applied and then buffed to a metal shine. The shade matches an older, darkened bronze.

A product from the True Metal range differs from an ordinary bottled paint in its consistency alone: it is a thick metallic paste in a jar, not a liquid paint for an airbrush. It is applied in a thin layer with a finger, a cloth, a cotton bud or a brush and buffed once it has set; the characteristic metal shine appears only with buffing. The Old Bronze shade aims at an older, darkened bronze with a warm brown-gold tone, a metal that has some history behind it rather than a freshly cast part.
The range suits a modeler who wants a metal look without an airbrush. Apply it thinly and in sections: a thick layer dries slowly and is hard to buff. The best result comes on a smooth, well-prepared base, as the metallic pigment catches unevenly on a rough surface. Old Bronze works beautifully in a pair with a lighter gold or brass tone: the lighter metal on the raised areas, the darkened bronze in the recesses and shaded parts. Leave the buffed surface alone so that it does not get dirty; if you want to protect it, try the varnish on a scrap first, as a buffed metallic layer reacts to varnishes more sensitively than ordinary paint.
A solvent-based product. Work in a well-ventilated area, keep it away from open flame and keep out of the reach of children.
