A kit of this kind stands somewhere between a classic model and a construction toy. There are usually few parts, they are larger and simpler than on scale models, and the whole thing is deliberately stylized, with a big head and simplified shapes. That makes the build quick and it needs no experience with filling or with an airbrush. Check the exact contents of the package, the number of parts and how far the finished figure can be posed on the packaging.
Separate the parts with nippers and file the remains of the gates flush; on colored plastic every white burr shows. If you want to paint the kit, unify the surface with a primer, otherwise the shades will not sit properly on dark plastic. Keep paint out of the mating surfaces of movable joints, or the joint will seize. A matte or satin overspray unifies the finished figure and takes the shine off the plastic at the same time.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
