A publication from Kagero devoted to the American Vought F4U Corsair carrier fighter. Reference for modelers and for anyone interested in aviation.

The Vought F4U Corsair is an American carrier-borne fighter of the Second World War period. You recognize it by its inverted gull wing, which first drops away from the fuselage and only then rises toward the tips. The shape was not chosen for looks: the machine was given a massive radial engine with a large propeller, and the gull wing made it possible to use shorter landing gear legs that still cleared it. The long nose, on the other hand, spoiled the pilot's view when landing on a carrier deck, so the Corsair at first operated mainly from land bases. Later it established itself on carriers as well, served with the British Fleet Air Arm and still fought in Korea.
The Corsair changed a great deal over its service life, and the individual series differ in canopy, armament and finish. A publication focused on a single type gives the connections that do not fit into a kit's instructions and makes it easier to decide which particular form of the machine to build.
It suits builders of Corsair models in all the usual scales, collectors of aviation literature and readers interested in the war in the Pacific regardless of modeling. It is just as useful for a build straight from the box as for a build with accessory sets, where an accurate reference matters even more.
This is a printed publication. A kit, accessory sets, decals, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
