A Tamiya acrylic modeling paint in the shade XF-57 Buff, that is a sandy beige. The XF range marks matte shades, so the paint dries to an even matte surface without gloss. It is a water-based paint made from an acrylic resin, packed in a small bottle with a volume of 10 ml. It covers well, flows smoothly and mixes easily with the other Tamiya shades.

Use

• Applied with a brush as well as an airbrush; for spraying, thin the paint with Tamiya X-20A thinner or with a small amount of water.
• The sandy beige suits desert and sand camouflage, beige areas and a base for dusty and dust-covered effects.
• It is also popular for dioramas — for groundwork, dust and lightening darker shades when picking out edges.
• Suitable for plastic, resin and other common modeling materials; fresh paint can be washed off with water before it dries.
