XF-88 Dark Yellow 2/Tm.žlutá 2

Tamiya XF-88 Dark Yellow 2 (10 ml)

A water-thinnable acrylic modeling paint from Tamiya in the shade dark yellow 2 (Dark Yellow 2). The XF designation means a matte (flat) finish. It is an updated shade matching the German Dunkelgelb – the base yellow most Wehrmacht vehicles were painted with during the Second World War. Camouflage blotches of green and brown were then applied over this base. The paint has a realistic matte cast and suits brush and airbrush alike. The pack contains 10 ml.

Use

• The base shade of the three-tone German camouflage of the Second World War – the blotches of XF-89 Dark Green 2 and XF-90 Red Brown 2 go over it.
• Apply with a brush, or thin it for the airbrush with Tamiya X-20A thinner and spray in thin coats.
• It holds on the usual modeling plastics; ideally over a coat of primer.
• For a camouflage pattern work from the lightest shade down to the darker ones.
• Stir the paint thoroughly before mixing; close the bottle properly after use.

Who it is for

For modelers building German military vehicles of the Second World War who want an accurate Dunkelgelb base shade for the three-tone camouflage.

Keep out of reach of children and work in a well ventilated space. Use respiratory protection when airbrushing.
