Responsibility details are not available.
A set of thirty-nine unpainted figures of Prussian infantry of the Franco-Prussian War, in 28 millimeter size. This variant has a majority of poses for loose fighting: riflemen firing, kneeling and loading. The sister set in the same range builds instead on advancing formations. Both contain the same sprues, only in a different proportion, so you choose the look of your unit by them.
Prussian infantry in 1870 no longer fought in close lines as it had a generation earlier. Rapid-firing breech-loaders and more accurate fire forced armies to disperse their formations, so an attack went in as waves of riflemen closing on the enemy in short rushes. The soldiers wore dark blue coats and the spiked helmet, which became the symbol of the whole German army of that time.
Separate the parts from the sprue with nippers at a distance and trim the rest with a knife. They are glued with ordinary modeling cement for polystyrene. Decide on the poses before gluing, as on multi-part figures the stance can be changed markedly. Build the dark blue coat up from a dark base toward lighter layers, or it will look black.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
