Printed figures of a doctor, a nurse and a wounded officer in 1:72 scale. A set designed for scenes with casualty evacuation.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of printed figures for scenes with casualty evacuation in 1:72 scale from the maker IBG. It holds three figures: a doctor, a nurse and a wounded officer. The maker designed it for the ambulance version of the Fieseler Fi 156 Storch, but it will serve in any scene with a field dressing station or an evacuation.
Figures on a medical subject are missing from the modeling range far more often than soldiers with a weapon, and yet it is they that can turn a static model into a story. A wounded man on a stretcher, a nurse at his head and a doctor giving instructions make a scene a viewer comes back to. With a small aircraft meant for casualty evacuation that goes double, because this very scene was its everyday work.
Separate the figures from the print supports, smooth the pads and wash them in lukewarm water with dish soap before painting. Build the faces from a darker base toward lighter layers. Do not paint a white coat in pure white but in a slightly broken shade with shadow in the folds, otherwise it will merge into a flat area on a small figure. At the end unify the sheen with a matte varnish.
The figures are supplied unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
