A set of weighted wheels for the German Wolf armored cross-country car in the SSA version in 1:35 scale from the maker DEF Model. This is not a vehicle kit but a replacement part. A flattened contact patch gives a heavy armored car the weight that a perfectly round plastic wheel never has. The manufacturer has designated the set for the Neverland Hobby kit.
Wolf is the name under which the German army operates cross-country cars derived from a civilian model with a legendary off-road reputation. The SSA version is an armored modification meant for settings where shooting and the blast of charges are a danger, so it has a higher weight and more massive tires. The vehicle served on missions abroad and is among the typical equipment of German units today.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with dish soap and let them dry out; they are glued with super glue. Seat the wheel with the flattened part pointing exactly downward, otherwise the car will look tilted. Bring out the off-road pattern with a dark wash and a dry brush. Modern vehicles tend to be kept clean, so go easy on the dirt and concentrate it mainly under the wheel arches.
The set is an accessory to a plastic kit, not a model in its own right. The Neverland Hobby kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
