An accessory set for a model of the British Supacat Coyote tactical support vehicle in 1:48 scale from the Czech maker Black Dog. It is fitted to a finished kit and fills it with equipment and cargo so that the vehicle looks like a machine in daily service. The manufacturer offers the set in the same range as the accessories for the smaller Jackal. The base model of the vehicle is not included in the package.
The Coyote is the six-wheel member of the British family of high-mobility vehicles and the direct sibling of the four-wheel Jackal. It was designed as an escort and supply vehicle for patrols: it carries fuel, ammunition, water and spare material for the equipment it operates with as a group. Typical features are the open bed, long suspension travel for driving off the roads and mounts for machine guns. In 1:48 scale a kit of this vehicle was released by Airfix.
First rinse the resin base in lukewarm soapy water and let it dry, or the paint will not hold on the smooth surface. Level any casting flash with a file. Apply thin coats of primer; a heavy coat would fill in the engraved detail. The surfaces come out well after a dark wash and a light pass with a dry brush.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
