Responsibility details are not available.
A kit of the American F-14A Tomcat fighter on the Top Gun theme from Revell. The manufacturer calls it a Brick System, that is a kit assembled from parts that fit together without glue and without painting. In that it differs substantially from a classic plastic model, where the parts are cut off the sprue, glued and painted. A scale is not stated for this kind of kit.
The Grumman F-14 Tomcat was an American carrier-based fighter with a variable-geometry wing and a crew of two, a pilot and a weapon systems officer. The wing swept back in flight, so the aircraft managed both a slow approach to an aircraft carrier and flight at supersonic speed. It carried a long-range radar and long-range missiles, and thanks to its treatment on film it became the best known carrier fighter of all.
The parts are joined by snapping them together, so no glue, knife or paints are needed and the build is quick. It is a good idea to keep exactly to the order in the instructions, because with snap-together kits a part seated wrongly is harder to take out later. The finished model can be taken apart and put together again, which cannot be done with a glued model. The particular number of parts and the recommended age are not stated.
The kit is assembled without glue and without painting. Further accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
