Responsibility details are not available.
A set of running tracks for a model of the Soviet T-34 medium tank. This is not a model of the tank but a replacement for the tracks from the kit. It contains early Model 1941 tracks produced by 3D printing and is intended for the Tamiya kit in 1:35, as the box states. The manufacturer is the Czech company Eduard of Obrnice near Most.
The Model 1941 designation belongs to the pattern of the track, not to the year the set was released. Early T-34s ran on tracks 550 mm wide, whose links have only a shallow tread and look almost smooth. These cast links were produced in several Soviet plants at the turn of 1940 and 1941. Later came links with more pronounced detail and finally the V-shaped tread, so the type of track is as strong a purchasing distinction on the T-34 as the shape of the turret. Compare the version with a photograph of the machine you are building, therefore, and bear in mind that the track patterns on the T-34 differed between production plants as well.
First separate the links from the supporting props and level the contact surfaces; protect your breathing while sanding. The printed parts are joined by cyanoacrylate glue, glue for polystyrene will not join them. A primer is mandatory. The smooth surface of the links suits weathering with dry pigment; on the T-34 light dust on the sides and smoothed metal at the points of contact tend to be the most convincing.
This is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
