Tank tracks are the most visible upgrade a tracked model can get: instead of the stiff rubber loop from the box, the vehicle gets individual-link runs that sag over the return rollers the way the real thing did. Alongside assembled plastic and 3D-printed links the range holds replacement runs cut for particular kits, from the Tiger through the T-34 to current armour. What separates link-and-length from rubber band tracks, when workable links are worth the extra evening, and how to seat a run properly, is explained below.

The vinyl loop in the box is one continuous band. It is quick to fit, but it sits stretched tight along the top run and its links cannot be bent around the idler. Individual-link tracks are built up from separate links, either glued into a pre-formed curve or pinned together so that they stay movable, the so-called workable tracks. What you get in return is natural sag between the road wheels, guide horns you can actually see, and a run that takes weathering convincingly. On subjects known for a slack top run, such as the Tiger, Panther or T-34, the difference is impossible to miss.
Tracks are tooled for specific kits, and the vehicle type alone is not enough. Early and late Tiger I used different links, the T-34 ran on both plain and waffle patterns, and the Sherman went through a whole catalogue of types including extended end connectors.
Glued links go together faster and need no pinning. Workable tracks forgive later changes and settle onto the running gear by themselves. 3D-printed sets usually carry the finest detail in the pins and lightening holes.
Budget an evening per run. Build glued links directly on the suspension or on a jig and leave them there until the cement sets, because that is the only way the run copies the curve over the wheels. Always dry-fit for length; taking a link out is far easier than adding one later.
Choose tracks for a subject from 1:35 military vehicle kits and the other scales beside it. The rest of the upgrade range sits under military vehicle detail sets.
