For its track sets the manufacturer gives individual links with the guide horn reproduced, faithful surface detail and a resin print suitable for painting and weathering. This is an accessory to a kit, not a model of the vehicle.
The Abrams is the main battle tank of the American army, introduced at the start of the 1980s and progressively modernized since. Its tracks have replaceable rubber blocks, thanks to which the tank can take long runs on paved roads without wrecking the surface. The T-158 type is one of the established versions, and on a model you recognize it by the characteristic detail of the blocks, which a plastic track only hints at.
Wash printed resin tracks in warm soapy water before gluing so that the paint will hold, and cut off the supports with a saw or a cutting disc. Glue the links with cyanoacrylate glue a few at a time into longer runs, and leave the finished track hanging in the correct sag until the glue has set. The best approach is to paint the tracks off the model: a dark base, then a metallic shade with a drybrush on the edges and finally dust pigments from below. Wear a respirator while sanding.
