Replacement landing gear wheels for a model of the two-seat SEPECAT Jaguar trainer in the T.2 and T.4 versions. This is not a model of the aircraft and not a kit, but a separate accessory that replaces the wheels from the box. The set is intended for the Airfix kit in 1:48, as the box states. Which wheels these are

The Jaguar was a British and French ground-attack aircraft, and alongside the single-seat machines the Royal Air Force took delivery of thirty-five two-seat Jaguar T.2 trainers; some of them then went through an upgrade to the Jaguar 96 standard and received the T.4 designation. The two-seat machine has a different forward fuselage section from the single-seat GR.1 and GR.1A, and for that single-seat line the manufacturer offers its own wheel sets. That is the main purchasing distinction and the two sets are easily confused. With the wheels themselves it is then the version of the tire and the tread that decide; compare them with a photograph of the machine you are building.

Fitting and painting tips

First separate the parts from the pour blocks and level the contact surfaces; protect your breathing while sanding. Resin and printed parts are glued with cyanoacrylate glue, glue for polystyrene will not join them. A primer is mandatory. Do not paint the tire black, a dark gray shade looks better; the hubs of British fighter-bombers tend to be light and traces of service show up well on them.
